The (Work) Life of A Professional Organizer
Just a Few of the Things We’ve Been Up To This Year...
1. Senior Transitions with Heart
Guided a retired nurse through a 30-year hoarding situation, helping her downsize from an overstuffed apartment and three storage units. We also arranged for two unused cars to be donated to charity — saving her over $2,000/month. She now thrives in a clean, social senior community with all the care she deserves. (We still help with maintenance visits, because organizing is never really “done,” right?)
2. Renovation Relief Experts
Helped homeowners prepare for major renovations by downsizing, packing, and setting up temporary kitchens and living spaces. For those moving out during construction, we coordinated movers, stored their belongings, and returned to unpack and organize everything when the dust settled.
3. Storage Unit Closures (a.k.a. The Storage Liberation Squad)
Helped multiple clients reclaim their time, space, and money by downsizing and closing out long-neglected (and overpriced!) storage units. We helped sort what to keep, donate, or sell — saving clients thousands in future storage fees.
4. Real Estate Readiness Rockstars
Partnered with realtors all over the Bay Area to support homeowners in prepping for sale. We downsized, packed, and scheduled movers — then coordinated smooth, efficient moves into their new homes and seamlessly unpacked and organized everything into place.
5. Organizational Design Consulting
Provided over 25 in-home and virtual consultations to DIY-minded clients who wanted expert advice on space planning, furniture layout, storage product selection, and organizing strategies — helping them transform their homes with confidence and clarity.
6. Styled A Living Space for a Previously Unhoused Person
Through a collaboration with Make It Home Bay Area, we designed, sourced, and placed furniture and decor for a new studio apartment as part of an Eden Housing Project in Novato that converted unused office space into homes for previously unhoused persons. See the before/during/afters on our Bella Organizing Instagram page.
7. Emotional Support Meets Logistics Management
Whether helping clients say goodbye to items from a past life, manage the overwhelm of big transitions, or simply make everyday spaces more functional, we’ve been there — sleeves rolled up and ready to go.
